Jake Hall's brother paid an emotional tribute at the Towie star's funeral, which was attended by hundreds of mourners who came to say their final goodbyes after the star's tragic death aged 35. There were tears of sadness, and joy, as family and friends listened to speakers at the emotional funeral ceremony, which was attended by his exes TV star Chloe Lewis and Swedish model Misse Beqiri. Among those to pay tribute during the service was Jake’s brother Sonny whose voice choked up with emotion as he spoke movingly of their lives together in a message he had pre-recorded.He promised that he would help care for Jake’s daughter River and told how his brother had done more in 35 years than most people would in several lifetimes.Sonny tearfully concluded saying: ‘I love you so much - I miss you so much.’Jake’s devastated parents Greg and Jacque were joined by his former girlfriends - childhood sweetheart Chloe Lewis and the mother of his beloved eight-year-old daughter River, Misse Beqiri - as hundreds of mourners crammed inside St Mary the Virgin, in Wanstead, London, for the 90 minute service.Co-stars of the hit reality TV series, boxer Derek Chisora and members of David Beckham’s family including his mother Sandra and sister Joanne were also among the packed congregation.Many appeared to be in disbelief following the star’s shocking death aged just 35 after he ran through a glass door in a holiday villa he was renting on the Spanish island of Majorca - where Jake had lived with his family during his childhood. He loved her beyond words and was a great dad. They are so similar - she is him.’It gave him a new sense of gratitude for his own mum and dad. I’m so grateful to have known Jake for the majority of his life.‘Jake loved nice things but he wasn’t flash. He has been all over the world - staying at villas and palaces of extremely powerful people but he was still very down to earth. When you put these ingredients that he had in abundance together, he was destined for greatness.‘The only thing that could get in his way was himself and I think that was the case with a lot of geniuses. That was part of his charm.’The Reverend James Gilder, who conducted the service, spoke of the difficulties and ‘complex emotions’ of dealing with Jake’s ‘untimely death’.He told the packed congregation: ‘Today here, we have a mum and dad who have lost their son, we have got a brother who lost his brother and we have a child who lost her father.‘Once the business of today calms down, I have no doubt that the next few months are going to be terribly hard for them.‘You have all lost someone who you care about in Jake. Life is short. Sometimes it is shorter than it should be.‘Untimely deaths humble us. Jake came a few times. I didn't see him for some time but just recently he started coming again.'What struck me from the very first meeting with Jake, the first impression I got, was that he had such a warm and beautiful heart.’As the funeral began Jake’s coffin, which was adorned with white flowers was carried into the church by eight pallbearers including Coronation Street star and good friend Ryan Thomas.It was carried to the front of the church which was brightly decorated by flowers and photographs of Jake during his happy times.Music featured during the service included Pavarotti’s Caruso, Amazing Grace and the Rose Royce song Wishing on a Star.Towards the end of the service Sienna Spiro’s poignant song Die on a Hill was dedicated to River.Jake was found dead at his holiday villa on May 6. Hall and Beqiri split in 2021, but she paid tribute to him today by posting a photo of him kissing her.Jake is believed to have arrived in Majorca on May 5 before going on a night out in Palma, then returning to the villa with two other men and three women.They partied and played music into the morning but the accident happened at about 7.15am when neighbours heard a loud crash, followed by glass shattering.The Guardia Civil confirmed there was no 'criminal activity' that took place at the scene, while legal sources confirmed the death appeared to be entirely accidental.An autopsy took place in Palma but the results of the tests will not be made public.Following his death, Ms Beqiri said: 'I never thought I would ever have to write this, and the pain of even putting these words down feels unbearable. There was no way you were ever supposed to go. My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter's.
