The Odisha Marine Police responded promptly, and with the help of local fishing vessels, we successfully rescued all 10 crew members, including the boat owner, Danayya,” the Minister said. He added that the State is currently making arrangements to bring the fishermen home safely.Expressing relief that all the fishermen were safe, Atchannaidu thanked the Odisha Government, the Marine Police and Fisheries Department officials for their swift response and cooperation.Meanwhile, the East Coast Mechanised Fishing Boat Owners Association has urged all boats currently at sea to exercise extreme caution as monsoon conditions continue to trigger high winds and rough seas across the coast.
