Manchester United is reportedly pursuing Chelsea’s Andrey Santos, with the Blues slapping a price tag of around £50 million on the 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder. The interest, which first surfaced in March 2026 at a lower €40 million valuation, appears to have intensified as the summer transfer window heats up.
Chelsea signed Santos from Vasco da Gama in January 2023 for approximately €12.5 million. Now they want roughly four times that amount back, despite the player never truly establishing himself in their first team.

Santos has spent chunks of his Chelsea career out on loan, with spells at Nottingham Forest and Strasbourg among his temporary homes. First-team minutes at Chelsea itself have been scarce.
Chelsea’s asking price of £50 million sits above his current Transfermarkt valuation of €40 million, which suggests Chelsea is either confident in his upside or simply testing the market’s willingness to pay a premium.
