He shared with hosts chef Angela Hartnett and DJ Nick Grimshaw that he doesn’t use the traditional method of a neutral oil or olive oil when cooking the batter.Instead, Kevin revealed an alternative fat he uses to get the best rise on his Yorkshire puddings. For Kevin, it’s all about coconut oil.in a recent clip shared to TikTok, Nick said: “You told us you make a great Yorkshire pudding. What is your… what is your method? Cause it can be hit and miss, people get it wrong, there’s a lot of trickiness with it, and I think once you get it, you get it ”Kevin replied: “Yeah. Well, so… It’s been a contention in my household, but I like to cook with a bit of coconut oil, high temperature and all that. I find it gives a good rise on the Yorkie.”He also shared that he uses a lot of eggs in his batter. Kevin continued: “And… lots of eggs. A lot more eggs than you think.”The TV presenter explained he usually uses four eggs in his batter.
