Actress and model Helen Flanagan moved out of the family home after her ex decided to sell it - the property sold in May, more than one year after it was put on the market20:49, 04 Jul 2026Updated 20:49, 04 Jul 2026Helen Flanagan slashed the price of her six-bedroom home multiple times before selling it more than one year after the property was put on the market.‌The 35-year-old actress and model had been living at the family home in Bolton, Lancashire, for years after splitting from her ex-partner, Scott Sinclair. However, she had to start looking for a new place after the footballer decided to sell the house, a decision that's thought to have left Helen devastated. She has since moved out.‌The home was initially put on the market for £1.5million before being reduced to £1.195million after just four weeks on the market. However, the house failed to attract buyers despite Helen reportedly spending £150,000 of her own money to renovate the mansion.‌The price was eventually slashed again to £995,000 - a reduction of more than a third of the original valuation - and the home finally sold in May, one year after it was put on the market. Documents seen by the Mail reportedly revealed that the sale only went through after a further £50,000 was knocked off the price tag.According to Land Registry records, the house was bought by a couple for £945,000. Earlier this year, Helen, who shares three children - Matilda, 11, Delilah, eight, and Charlie, five - with her ex, said she was saddened by her ex's decision to put the property, which they previously hoped would be their "forever" home, up for sale.‌She told The Mirror: "His decision to sell the family has broken my heart. His reason for selling is financial, as he isn't currently signed to a football club, but it makes me angry when he spends money on fancy holidays and constant trips to Dubai. Scott has other properties he could sell, too - his mother lives in a house similar to mine and yet that hasn't been put up for sale. I worry about my future and my security."‌Helen later admitted she was worried about how she can afford everything her children need. She added: "I have to work constantly to make ends meet. He's the father of my kids, but their dad's a wealthy guy, you know?"A source previously claimed that Scott had decided to sell the mansion before finding the former Coronation Street star and their children another place to live. "Scott wants to sell to take the money out, but he hasn't found Helen or the kids a new place. He's not being reasonable. He and Helen are not on the same page," one source claimed.Another added: "Helen doesn't want to move and is digging her heels in. She loves the place, the kids are settled at the local school and her mum and dad live around the corner. Scott wants to buy Helen a four-bedroom home. He's even offered to put it in her name but wants to stop the maintenance payments."Article continues belowLike this story?
