Emergency rescue operations have been completed in Kyiv at the site where a 16-story residential building in the Darnytskyi district was struck!

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service reported this on Facebook.

"Today, during cleanup operations on the 12th and 13th floors, approximately 42 cubic meters of construction debris were removed. Using an XCMG QY75K truck crane provided by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Rivne region, 24 fragments of reinforced concrete slabs with a total weight of about 53 metric tons were removed from those same floors," the statement said.

The remains discovered during the cleanup were handed over to National Police personnel for forensic examination.
