Commending three final year students of the Thiagarajar College of Engineering for having received offer letters from the Amazon, college chairman Hari Thiagarajan said that the institution would continue to train their students to face global careers.The placement cell of the college in a press release issued here on Saturday said that the three students - Thejeshwar Raj, Kannappan and Hrishikesan were felicitated for their feat by the management and faculty members.College Principal Ashok Kumar said that it was not only a proud moment for the students, but also the institution for bringing such laurels.The release said that in the recently held campus interview a total of 638 students had secured placements. In all, 98 firms had given 756 offers.The TCE had recorded 16 global offers and 118 students received dual offers.
