JEDDAH: The Culinary Arts Commission has launched the second Academic Culinary Arts Program to prepare a new generation of Saudi chefs and culinary professionals through specialized education and practical training.
The initiative supports broader efforts to strengthen the Kingdom’s creative economy under Vision 2030 while creating career pathways for Saudis in the culinary sector.
The 12-month program combines academic study with hands-on training and is offered in partnership with accredited Saudi universities and specialized academies.
Applications are open until July 31 for applicants aged 18 and above who hold a high school diploma or a university degree, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
According to the commission, the program aims to equip participants with the practical and technical skills needed to enter the labor market while supporting the development of the Kingdom’s culinary sector.
