Districts constituting part of the State capital are trailing behind in terms of distribution of enumeration forms for the ongoing process of the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.The distribution which formally began on June 25, has entered the 10th day on Saturday. Almost all the districts except Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medchal Malkajgiri have crossed 90% mark in distribution of forms. In Hyderabad, the distribution stands at close to 63%, while in Rangareddy, it is nearly 74%. Medchal Malkajgiri recorded the lowest distribution at 56%. Mancherial at 86% and Sangareddy at 89% are the only two districts which have recorded less than 90%. Wanaparthy district leads the State with 99.56% distribution followed by Nalgonda at 99.09%. Overall, 85% distribution of forms has been completed in the State, the office of the Chief Electoral Officer informed.With 14.36 lakh electors returning the filled-in forms, digitisation of the same has reached 4.25%.
