Various government agencies that are implementing schemes for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Coimbatore district should adopt an integrated approach and coordinate with different departments for better growth of the MSME sector, said Minister for Backward Classes Welfare V. Sampath Kumar in Coimbatore city on Saturday (July 4).In a meeting he chaired with officials, he sought details regarding organising women into self-help groups under the Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission, facilitating easy access to bank loans and financial services, schemes offered by the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation to those who want to start new businesses and expanding existing ones; and programmes by the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation to provide industry-aligned skill training to youth and ensure post-training employment opportunities.The Minister emphasised the need to ensure that a larger number of people benefit from the MSME sector in the future and no eligible beneficiary is left out.
