Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India successfully overcame the global energy crisis triggered by the conflict in West Asia through timely policy decisions, diplomatic outreach and the expansion of domestic energy capacity. Addressing a public gathering in Rajasthan's Balotra after inaugurating the Pachpadra Refinery and launching development projects worth ₹1.06 lakh crore, the Prime Minister said India avoided severe fuel shortages and sharp price hikes that affected many countries. Modi described India's handling of the crisis as an "unprecedented" achievement, saying the government's policy decisions, diplomatic efforts and strategic planning would be remembered as a landmark chapter in the nation's history.
