On the night of June 25-26, 2026, fighters of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine destroyed a Russian MiG-29 fighter jet and an airfield launcher at Belbek airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea.

On the night of June 26, specialists from the HUR's Unmanned Systems Department attacked the airfield and destroyed a Russian MiG-29 fighter jet.
HUR special forces also burned an airfield launcher - at the moment it was hit, the vehicle was servicing a combat aircraft.
Estimated Russian losses could amount to tens of millions of dollars.
