MANILA, Philippines – The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on Saturday warned public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers against driving while vlogging or producing social media content to prevent potential road crash.
In a statement, the LTFRB said it issued memorandum circular No. 2026-050 that seeks to reinforce the Anti-Distracted Driving Act after the agency noticed an increase in vloggers and other social media content creators who produce content while driving PUVs.
“We call on both the operators and drivers to be mindful of this law not only for the safety of all the people on board the PUV but also to all the other road users,” said LTFRB Chair Vigor Mendoza.
