MOSCOW, July 4. /TASS/. Konstantinovka was defended by nationalist formations from the Lyut Brigade, along with the Ukrainian military's most combat-capable units, Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff and First Deputy Chief of the General Staff Sergey Rudskoy said at a briefing.
"To hold Konstantinovka and its surrounding areas, the enemy assembled a substantial force comprising seven brigades, or a total of 45 battalions with up to 15,500 personnel. These included motivated nationalist formations loyal to the Kiev regime from the National Police's separate Lyut assault brigade, as well as the Ukrainian military's most combat-capable units equipped with heavy hardware and Western-made weapons," he said.
