This move is the latest in Louise’s downsizing journey.
The 76-year-old sold her three storey, four-bedroom Victorian townhouse in Southsea, Hampshire in 2022 to make life easier for her husband Stewart as his health deteriorated.

The couple needed to live in a single storey home as Stewart suffered with several health issues, including chronic kidney disease and diabetes. They settled on a two-bed apartment in a converted former naval hospital, the Royal Haslar, Gosport with views overlooking the Solent, spending the small sum they banked from the move on enjoying the time they had left together.
