OTTAWA — A Liberal MP who heard concerns from voters the last time Ottawa bought an oil pipeline are confident this time is different, as the federal government partners with Alberta to fund a new one to the B.C. coast.
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and Prime Minister Mark Carney stood together in Calgary Thursday night as Smith unveiled her province’s proposal for a one-million barrel per day pipeline and a new export terminal near Delta, B.C.
