Work is ongoing in the U.S. Congress to finalize the defense budget, which is important for Ukraine's security.
This was stated by Ukraine's ambassador to the United States, Olga Stefanishyna, in an interview with Ukrinform.
Stefanishyna recalled that in early June, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Ukraine Support Act for the first time in a long while, sending an important signal that bipartisan support for Kyiv remains intact.
According to her, a significant number of Ukraine-related legislative initiatives were introduced in both chambers of Congress during 2025-2026. She stressed that support for Ukraine remains steady and bipartisan.
