Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has called for deeper collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the Judiciary to strengthen criminal justice administration and uphold the rule of law.
Disu made the call during a courtesy visit to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Olatokunbo Kekere-Ekun, on Thursday as part of ongoing efforts to enhance institutional cooperation between both arms of the justice system.
The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Aniete Okokon Iniedu, disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja.
According to the statement, the IGP commended the Judiciary’s leadership for its commitment to judicial integrity, constitutional governance and the effective administration of justice.
