The management of the Federal University of Technology Teaching Hospital (FUTA Teaching Hospital), Akure, has dismissed allegations of irregularities in the transition of its workforce to the federal system, assuring staff that the process is being conducted fairly and in accordance with established regulations.
In a statement issued by the hospital’s Head of Public Relations, Tope Fayehun, management described a recent communiqué by organised labour in Ondo State as “false, misleading, unsubstantiated and capable of creating unnecessary tension.”
According to the statement, the hospital has complied fully with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) guiding its transition from Ondo State to Federal Government ownership and challenged labour leaders to identify any aspect of the agreement allegedly breached.
“Allegations of such magnitude must be supported by verifiable facts and credible evidence rather than mere accusations,” the statement said.
