Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said after meeting his Polish counterpart Radosław Sikorski in Warsaw on 3 July that he has received assurances Poland will continue supporting Ukraine in strengthening its defence capabilities.

Details: The meeting took place amid heightened tensions in Polish-Ukrainian relations following Polish President Karol Nawrocki's decision to revoke a state honour previously awarded to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy over granting a Ukrainian military unit the honorary designation "named after the Heroes of the UPA".
