US ambassador Brent Bozell has cosied up to Afrikaner leaders, posing for photos and talking up a "safer and more prosperous SA" as relations between Washington and Pretoria sit at their lowest point since apartheid.

The US embassy posted about the meeting on X on Friday morning.
"Great to see Afrikaner leaders from the Solidarity Movement; AfriForum, Solidarity, SAAI, NEASA, and Freedom Front Plus," the post read.
"We discussed how the US government's focus on the community can contribute to a safer and more prosperous SA."
