Loop Global completed a 64-port Level 2 charging installation at a multifamily development in Hyde Park, a Boston neighborhood. Loop Global is a leading provider of turnkey electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, and the project was completed in May. It’s a very large EV charger installation for a multifamily structure in the particular local area. I had submitted some questions for an interview a while back and responses just came in, so I still wanted to create this post because of the project details.

There aren’t enough EV chargers at multifamily structures, so it’s worth reporting on some of these developments to show they are happening, just slowly. When residents of multi-family structures have onsite charging, they can charge at home which is obviously much more convenient. Additionally, in Massachusetts, electric vehicle chargers have not been installed at a great rate, so reporting on these new ones may be encouraging.

Rob Kutner, Chief Commercial Officer at Loop Global, answered the project questions for us.

How long did it take to install the 64 Level 2 EV chargers?
