The main goal of the upcoming NATO summit is to demonstrate the unity of the Western countries and deter Russia from any aggressive actions.

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said this during a joint press conference with Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The head of the Polish Foreign Ministry stressed that Russia is waging a hybrid and cognitive war against the West, trying to sow discord among allies and between NATO countries and Ukraine.

"Instead, we will demonstrate that the Alliance is not only maintaining its unity, but has also become stronger after the accession of Sweden and Finland. And it would be a great imprudence and madness if Vladimir Putin decided to test the Alliance's unity with any reckless actions," the Polish foreign minister said.
