The University of Fort Hare said it is studying the judgment that declared its deregistration of Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane unlawful.
Fort Hare spokesperson JP Roodt said the university had noted the ruling, which was handed down on Thursday.
"The university notes the judgment handed down by the High Court," Roodt told IOL.
"The university's legal representatives are studying the judgment.
