Ethiopia’s coffee exports have hit a milestone, reaching the $3 billion mark for the first time in the country’s history.
The information was revealed by the Ethiopian Minister of Agriculture, Addisu Arega, who noted that the breakthrough is a result of the combined efforts of farmers, exporters, cooperatives, investors, and government institutions working across the coffee value chain.
Ethiopia has successfully achieved its target of USD 3 billion in coffee export earnings this fiscal year. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this historic achievement,” the minister stated via X
