Alleged forrmer gang leader Igshaan ‘Sanie American’ Davids was murdered.
The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organised Crime's Western Cape Gang Monitor has revealed the implications of the murder of former alleged Americans gang boss, Igshaan “Sanie” Davids.
Davids was shot on April 11, allegedly in 18th Avenue, Kensington, while on his way to the shop.
He was a longtime leader of the Americans gang and a well-known figure in the underworld.
The report found that the months of March to May 2026 witnessed a marked increase in violent incidents as old conflicts ignited new blood feuds.
