Türkiye's annual inflation stands at 32.11 pct in June

Türkiye’s consumer prices rose 0.99 percent in June from the previous month, while annual inflation stood at 32.11 percent, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said.

The consumer price index was up 17.76 percent from the end of last year and 32.03 percent on a 12-month average basis, TÜİK data showed.

Among the three main expenditure groups with the highest weight in the index, food and non-alcoholic beverages rose 35.45 percent year-on-year, while transport prices increased 31.15 percent.

Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels posted an annual increase of 45.14 percent.
