Swiss private bank Julius Baer has appointed Peter Burrill as its new chief financial officer, bringing in a veteran finance executive from Standard Chartered as the bank continues to reshape its leadership team.

Julius Baer has appointed Peter Burrill as chief financial officer and a member of its Executive Board, effective August 17, 2026, subject to regulatory approval.
He succeeds Evie Kostakis, whose departure was announced by the bank in April. She will leave the group after completing an orderly handover.
