Samoan entertainer Tofiga Fepulea'i has praised the staff at the dialysis unit at Tupua Tamasese Meaole Hospital in Moto'otua, describing the service as "top shelf" despite limited resources compared to New Zealand.
In a social media post shared while awaiting treatment, Fepulea'i said he was beginning his day with a dialysis session at the main hospital in Moto'otua.
"Starting the day with my dialysis session here at the main hospital in Moto’otua. Just waiting to be called in for my session," he wrote.
Fepulea'i noted that he had previously undergone dialysis treatment at the hospital during earlier visits to Samoa.
"I’ve had sessions here before on previous trips," he said.
