MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) said it was ready to implement lawful orders from any court as the arrest of Sen. Rodante Marcoleta looms following the filing of the plunder case against him.

“We follow systems and protocols in our operations,” PNP public information chief Col. Allen Rae Co said in a press briefing in Camp Crame on Friday.

“The PNP stands ready to execute any lawful order from the court,” he added.
