To the Manor Born, a 14-minute retrospective first shown in 2024. In the documentary, the late actress looks back on playing the aristocratic Audrey fforbes-Hamilton, reflects on how the beloved sitcom came to life, and shares memories of working alongside co-stars Peter Bowles and Angela Thorne.Following the documentary, viewers can enjoy a classic episode of To the Manor Born at 8.15pm, before an episode of The Good Life airs at 8.45pm.‌The tribute concludes at 9.15pm with Hay Fever, the television adaptation of Noël Coward's celebrated play, featuring Dame Penelope as retired actress Judith Bliss.The special schedule was announced shortly after her family confirmed her passing in a heartfelt statement.‌The statement read: "We are deeply saddened to announce that Dame Penelope Keith died peacefully whilst living with cancer at her home in Surrey where she had lived for more than 50 years."The family is grateful for the care and support she received throughout her treatments, and ask that their privacy be respected at this time."Alongside her much-loved roles in the classic sitcoms of the 1970s and 1980s, Dame Penelope also appeared in a number of other popular comedy series, including Sweet Sixteen, No Job for a Lady and Next of Kin.‌Since the news of her passing, fans headed over to social media to share their condolences.One social media user wrote: "Saddened to hear of the death of Dame Penelope Keith aged 86, a fine actress in one of our best sitcoms The Good Life..
