I thought I’d seen and tested every permutation of iPhone add-on, but the Hikawa Grip & Stand just proved there’s still more innovation to be found under the sun. This triangular piece of silicone provides a means to grip and prop up our phones with its big, ripply design that almost looks like a surrealist mountaintop. And, somehow, it feels as great to hold as it is cool to look at. Available in three equally eye-catching colors, and sold exclusively through Apple, this accessory is the statement piece of the year, standing in stylish opposition to the crossbody straps that offer a different kind of easy access. I tested the Hikawa Grip & Stand with my iPhone 17 Pro Max for three weeks and found it to be one of my favorite iPhone accessories ever.
Hikawa Grip & Stand
This premium silicone grip and stand is as stylish as it is sturdy, and doesn’t slip a bit when used as a stand or grip.
An excellent mix of cool and convenience
Some phone grips, such as the Tidepool Lava Lamp Absinthe Ink PopSocket I’m fond of, look kind of cool. The Hikawa Grip & Stand, however, is just flat-out awesome. It comes in three color options, including the wavy pink and orange stand that screams “fashion,” the glow-in-the-dark blue model that’s the closest thing to minimalist, and the Stone Hikawa with black, white and gray speckles that looks like a cross between marble and everything-bagel seasoning.
