Kannada play Swatantryada Ota, which is based on a novel by writer Mohammed Kunhi, will be staged at Karnatak Vidyavardhakh Sangha in Dharwad on Sunday at 5.30 p.m.Addressing a press conference in Dharwad on Thursday, Director of Dharwad Rangayana Zakir Nadaf said that the play is being presented by the Shivamogga Rangayana troupe in association with Dharwad Rangayana and the Kannada and Culture Department.The play is directed by Nataraj Honnavalli, while Manjunath Gomaldarangi has adapted the novel into a stage script.Mr. Nadaf said that the stage design has been done by Madhusudan, Ramesh S. Mysuru and Shankar K. Belalakatte.Raghav Kammar has provided music for the play, while Salma Dandin is the co-director.Tickets have been priced at ₹100.Administrative Officer of Dharwad Rangayana Shashikala Huded was present.
