Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is celebrating America 250 with investments into U.S. airports, delivering millions in funding to Baltimore-Washington International Airport.Maryland received $76.6 million from the department. Forty-six other states also received part of the $1.776 billion in upgrades.BWI specifically received $62.3 million for runway and runway lighting rehabilitation, according to an email press release sent to the Washington Examiner.
“What better way to celebrate America than investing in its future. We’re ushering in the Golden Age of Transportation and rebuilding our airport infrastructure is critical to making that vision a reality.
