Now, viewers eagerly await brand new episodes as they call for more to be released regularly.‌Earlier this year, new instalments released on Channel 4 saw harrowing cases explored as once again viewers were plunged into real life investigations as detectives race against the clock for justice.‌Officers often uncover horrific truths in their search for justice, with cases ranging from drugs investigations to murder, each having a huge impact on fans.Tonight, a "brutal" instalment will air on Channel 4 at 9pm, but viewers have been warned ahead of the episode.‌Titled A Moment of Madness, a Channel 4 synopsis reads: "This episode explodes onto screens as a blood-soaked man walks out of a hotel lift holding a fire extinguisher and shouting that he's killed someone. This programme isn't suitable for younger viewers."‌Tonight's episode plunges viewers into the chilling 999 call made after a man was spotted in the hotel with a fire extinguisher as it hears from the first officers at the scene as police constable Georgina Kindred admitted: "I knew I was out of my depth".She revealed how upon entering the hotel she was greeted with the male holding the fire extinguisher, adding: "As soon as he saw me he approached me straight away and said 'I've killed a man', he seemed very calm."‌The episode also shows chilling CCTV footage as well as urgent bodycam footage as officers investigate what really happened.Over the years, 24 Hours in Police Custody has been branded as an elite programme as one person wrote on social media: "#24hoursinpolicecustody is the best TV show of its kind ever.
