ALMOST two years since Shallcross siblings Olysha and Owen Ganas were killed after an alleged street racer slammed into their vehicle, causing it to catch alight, their family continues to yearn for justice.
Olysha, 27, and her brother, Owen, 25, were killed while attending a street racing event along the M19 near Reservoir Hills on July 27, 2024.
It is alleged that while making a U-turn at a traffic light, the driver of a BMW one series crashed into their Audi A3, causing it to burst into flames.
On August 2, 2024, the driver of the BMW was arrested, however, the matter was not placed on the court roll due to “insufficient evidence”.
