The Oke-Ogun region of Oyo State, on Wednesday, thanked President Bola Tinubu following the Federal Government’s approval of the construction of the Iseyin-Ipapo-Ibaruba road at a cost of N265 billion.

The Chairman of the Conference of Obas and Chiefs of Oke-Ogun and Aseyin of Iseyinland, Oba Sefiu Oyebola, gave the commendation in a statement issued in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

He said he was speaking on behalf of the people of the 10 local government areas that make up the Oke-Ogun region.

The monarch said, “The approval of the roads is a historic turning point that will unlock economic prosperity for the entire zone and its adjoining states.
