A business transformation programme was conducted for differently abled entrepreneurs in Madurai on Wednesday. The programme was conducted by CII Foundation and CII-CEL.The main objective of the initiative was to enable differently abled micro-entrepreneurs and offer them capacity building programmes that will provide them with additional skills and assistance in scaling up their business through knowledge transfer, mentorship, market access, peer learning, financially informed decision making and professionally supported leadership development.​​Convenor - IWN Madurai Chapter and Managing Director of Devadoss Hospitals Hema Sathish said micro and small scale industries not only helped in the growth of the entrepreneurs, it helped in the overall development of the country. Entrepreneurs were providing employment which was important and commendable, she said.Board Member of State Welfare Board and Managing Trustee of Thiyagam Women’s Trust S.J. Amutha Shanthi appreciated the participants for becoming entrepreneurs. It was time to go to the next level, she told them.T. Hariharan of CII spoke about the financial strategy required to run a business. Deputy Director and Head of Madurai Zonal Office K. Sudhamathi was present.
