The newly launched platform helps brands and agencies find, vet and value Nigerian creators using real engagement, audience and media-value data

Nigeria’s creator economy has quietly become one of the most important consumer channels in the country. Brands across food, beauty, fintech and FMCG now route serious budgets through creators, and a generation of Nigerians has turned content into a full-time business.

But the infrastructure underneath that boom hasn’t kept up. Creators have professionalised; the way brands choose them has not. Selection still happens over follower counts, screenshots and gut feel — the same way it did five years ago.

ViralGet platform, which launched this week, is betting that the next phase of Nigeria’s creator economy needs a data layer — and it aims to be it.
