The joint Canadian-Ukrainian production of Airlogix-Sentinel drones concerns reconnaissance aerial drones, but nothing prevents cooperation between the two countries from being expanded to other types.
Canada's Ambassador Natalka Cmoc stated this in an interview with Ukrinform.
"It was just signed on May 29 at CANSEC. I got to witness this. It is a big deal. Right now, it is focused on aerial drones, but nothing prevents this from being expanded to other types," she said.
Cmoc explained that the plan is for Ukraine to have specially designed reconnaissance drones that survey terrain, help plan operations, and even protect infrastructure.
