In tears, she said: "I couldn't believe it. Our lives were torn apart in that moment."After spending days in hospital back in 2018, Shawna recalled being told she needed to remain there for "at least three weeks", but she refused for David's funeral.Now, years after the chilling incident, she has revealed she has made up with her daughter, after temporarily falling out through the ongoing neighbour dispute, and has regular contact with her two grandchildren - one of whom was born after David's funeral.In the documentary, Shawna admitted: "I just want to be here for my kids and my grandkids because they are the most important thing to me."After facing a "long road", Shawna went through 16 facial surgeries to fix the bones in her face which she said were "all broken".She continued: "The loss of my sight in my left eye, the loss of my hearing in my left ear, scars on my face. Now, Shawna's daughter and grandchildren have moved back to Mount Sterling.After revealing Frances' sentence, Shawna revealed: "It's my biggest fear for Frances to be paroled.
