Denmark will provide Ukraine with an additional DKK 4.4 billion ($670 million) in military support, underscoring its commitment to the country as the war to defend itself against Russia drags on.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Bloomberg.
The new aid package includes ammunition and weapons, while also enabling the Ukrainian government to allocate about DKK 1.3 billion to finance its domestic defense industry.
“Ukraine’s fight for freedom is also Europe’s fight,” Defense Minister Jeppe Bruus said in a statement on Tuesday.
With this latest contribution, Denmark's total support for Ukraine will approach DKK 80 billion.
