Ukraine's Defense Forces expanded their long-range DeepStrike campaign against key elements of Russia's military and economic infrastructure in June 2026, targeting sites from temporarily occupied Crimea and Russia's Krasnodar Territory to Western Siberia.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported this.

The maximum confirmed strike range exceeded 2,000 kilometers from Ukraine's state border.

In line with Ukraine's defense strategy, the strikes were aimed at depriving Russia of resources needed to wage war, including fuel, communications capabilities, weapons production facilities, and related components.

The ministry said Russia sustained significant losses from Ukraine's DeepStrike campaign in June. During the month, Defense Forces units struck dozens of oil and gas infrastructure and fuel logistics facilities, defense industry enterprises, military and satellite communications centers, and naval assets.
