Natixis Investment Managers has appointed Sophie Courmont as Head of Switzerland, effective immediately. In her new role, she will assume overall responsibility for the firm's operations in Geneva and Zurich and is tasked with further strengthening the French asset manager's position in the Swiss market, according to a statement released on Wednesday.
Courmont will continue to report to Gad Amar, Head of Western Europe Distribution. She will oversee the firm's sales and market strategy for institutional and wholesale clients and is expected to further strengthen collaboration between the teams in Geneva and Zurich. She will also be responsible for increasing Natixis IM's visibility in the Swiss market.
