Hyundai Motor India on Wednesday reported total sales of 51,335 units in June 2026, even as production was temporarily disrupted by a fire at one of its supplier's manufacturing facilities.The automaker sold 39,635 units in the domestic market during the month, while exports stood at 11,700 units, according to a regulatory filing. \Also Read: Hyundai Motors, Tamil Nadu govt join hands to build EV manufacturing, skill hubCommenting on the June sales performance, HMIL Managing Director and CEO Tarun Garg said the company delivered the monthly numbers "despite facing a production loss of 13,900 units owing to a fire incident at one of the supplier's manufacturing facilities which led to a temporary disruption in production"."HMIL has taken all necessary steps to ensure production normalcy, including arranging automotive parts from alternate source locations," he added.Also Read: Hyundai Motor India to increase car prices up to 1% effective May 2026Garg said production operations across the company's facilities resumed normalcy from June 22."Our production operations have returned to normal across facilities since June 22, 2026.
