Antonin Kinsky isn’t going anywhere. The 23-year-old Czech goalkeeper has signed a new five-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur, locking him in through at least 2031 with an option for a further year that could keep him in North London until 2032.
It’s a remarkable trajectory for a player who arrived from Slavia Prague just 18 months ago for £12.5 million plus add-ons. In that short window, Kinsky went from relative unknown to the club’s undisputed first-choice between the posts.
From backup plan to building block
Kinsky’s January 2025 transfer felt, at the time, like a sensible bit of squad management. Initially serving as backup to first-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, Kinsky didn’t just compete for the starting spot. He claimed it outright, establishing himself as the No. 1 during a period of significant squad turnover at the club.
Kinsky has expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in him by the club and signaled his intent to repay it with results.
