A total of 48 persons, who were affected in the ammonia gas leak at a seafood processing and export facility in Tiruvallur district on June 21, were discharged after treatment.Presently, 19 women are hospitalised, of whom, one is on ventilator support, 10 are receiving nasal oxygen and eight patients are stable.The ammonia gas leak claimed the lives of 16 women from Odisha, Assam, and Jharkhand.The mortal remains of 13 victims were airlifted to Odisha, two to Assam and one to Jharkhand, a media bulletin issued by the Health Department said.
