The death of another woman took the toll in the ammonia gas leak at a seafood processing and export facility in Tiruvallur district to 16 on Saturday, according to a bulletin issued by the Health Department.The deceased was identified as Kabita Juanga of Odisha. At present, 26 persons – 25 women and one man – are undergoing treatment. Of them, one patient is on ventilator support and nine are receiving nasal oxygen. The condition of 16 patients is stable. So far, a total of 41 persons were discharged after treatment.The mortal remains of 12 persons were airlifted to Odisha and two to Assam.
