Besiktas has tabled a verbal offer worth up to €20 million to sign Leandro Trossard from Arsenal. The Turkish Süper Lig club’s bid could reportedly stretch to €22 million depending on the structure of add-ons.
Negotiations between the two clubs began in mid-to-late June 2026. Multiple outlets describe the talks as “advanced,” with Trossard’s representatives engaging in what have been characterized as productive discussions with Besiktas between June 9 and 13.
Why Arsenal might let him go
Trossard is 31 years old with just one year left on his contract, which expires in the summer of 2027. Arsenal is reportedly willing to entertain offers for the Belgian forward, but only if Trossard himself signals his desire to leave.
Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 for a reported fee of around €27 million and has been a useful squad player throughout his time in north London.
