Newcastle’s Tino Livramento expected to return in pre-season after World Cup exit
LONDON: Newcastle defender Tino Livramento has undergone minor surgery after suffering a calf injury and is expected to return during pre-season, the Premier League club said on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old picked up the injury during England squad training in June and was subsequently ruled out of the squad for the World Cup, to be replaced by Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah.
We can confirm that Tino Livramento has successfully undergone a minor surgical procedure.
The defender, who returned from World Cup duty with an injury, is expected to return during pre-season.
